Post pregnancy smells

I've noticed ever since I had my baby [it's almost been two months] that my discharge and all around smell down there doesn't smell the same. In fact, it smells like my boyfriend's cum gone bad or something. It's really unpleasant to me. My boyfriend hasn't cum in me (that I'm aware of) for almost 3 months though so I don't really understand why I would take on his scent. Can anyone shed some light on whats going on and if I should be worried?

Changes in discharge and smell can often be signs of an infection. At the same time, pregnancy can cause serious hormonal changes. If you're finding the smell unpleasant, or particularly strong, it would be a good idea to ask a health care provider about it. Has your lochia stopped? Have you had your post partum check up yet?

"My boyfriend hasn't cum in me (that I'm aware of) for almost 3 months"

How would you not notice him ejaculating inside you?

If it was accidental I'd be surprised if she did notice!

I didn't return to my normal smell for a few months after. But I didn't smell foul either. Have you already been for you PP check up? Did you mention it to the doc? Did they mention anything about infection or anything like that?

Sometimes hormone fluctuations can make the conditions in your vag more conducive to various sorts of infections, or the hormone fluctuations themselves can change the smell. If it worries you, definitely go to a doctor.
