insteads causing cramps

"ello. On my first day of insteads here and I was wondering if they cause cramps
for anyone else or if i just have them placed wrong.
They don't seem to be leaking, but it seems to be giving me cramps as if I have
a tampon in. I normally don't have any cramps during my period, so this is all
very sucky.
tia!

I have some mild cramps for about 30 minutes after I insert my diva cup, then they usually go away. I'm assuming that if I can get cramps from my diva, you can get them from insteads :)

I've actually heard that a lot of people who have cramps with tampons don't get them while using Insteads. However, if you are only getting mild cramping and you are just starting to use them, it's possible it could be your body getting used to it. If it doesn't leak or anything, I wouldn't assume that it is in wrong, but maybe be extra careful next time you put one in to make sure you put it right where the information about it says to and see if that helps at all.

I had cramps with Insteads. I put it down to the fact that they were just too big for my anatomy (they simply would not stay lodged behind the pubic bone and kept slipping down). That was one of the many reasons I stopped using them and went on to buy a Diva.

Im one of those people. I had awful cramps with tampons. I hardly get them since I switched to insteads.

Insteads definitely lessen my cramps.

yeah, they sometimes do that. i just live with in because i hate messy pads and im terrible with tampons. and i like being able to have blood-free sex on my period with an instead cup in.
