Gyno & that time of the month (ugh!)

I just scheduled a very hard to obtain gyno appointment for monday the 26th and now(!!!!) my body is doing something funky and I can feel that my period is going to come earlier than usual and appear sometime before my appointment and continue through it.

Is it okay to go to the gyno if you have your period? I feel like I shouldn't and I should try to reschedule but it's pretty important that I go now.

I have a pap on the 27th because well my periods have been really irregular and I am already feeling all PMSy at what would make my period a regular 28 days as oppossed to the 45 days I've been experiencing. If I start before my pap, I won't be able to get another appointment for another month.

ugh! sometimes I swear our women parts are pieces of junk! I'm bartering with my body to hold out for the 27th before my period starts however, I doubt it will take the bribe!
