At my last gyno exam, the nurse pointed out two bumps in my crotchular area that she said were benign, and could be removed by using some kind of topical medicine they have. I forgot what exactly she said they were, or what caused them. There's one kind of on my lower butt cheek that feels like a big pimple or a wart, and it's been there for several months. Then there's a tiny bump on my inner thigh near where my labia touch it, and it's been there longer. I accidentally shaved it off once (ow!) and it just came back. At first I thought it was just a pimple, too, but it's not. I doubt they are ingrown hairs also since I rarely shave the inner thigh area (except that one time, and the bump was already there) and the bump on my butt is on an area where hair doesn't grow. Anyone know what these are? There hasn't been any change in my risk for disease, either, and since the nurse said they were benign I'm guessing it may be some kind of localized cancer thing, or fungal thing?

Edit: I looked at them in the mirror. They are dark pinkish-red overgrown freckle looking things. Originally I thought they were freckles, until they started getting bigger and 3-d. The bigger one on my butt also feels kind of tender, not tough like a mole would. Its surface is smooth and flat, but it's raised. It might even be a different thing than the one on my inner thigh...
