Dear Dr. Wondrasch-

I'm sure you've been overrun with people contacting you about "I <heart>
my vagina" buttons here recently, so I hope you'll take just a minute and
look at our contribution.

I help moderate a community on LiveJournal.com called vaginapagina, a
body-positive, progressive community that is all about vaginas, vulvas and
other stuff that relates to women's bodies and wellbeing. It is a safe
space where we can talk in detail and without shame about anything and
everything vagina-related.

When we heard about this issue that is currently facing your school we
posed the question to our members; how do you feel about this? Given the
information that we have (and I'm certain it's not the whole story) we
decided to start a petition.

We know that these signatures do not represent your constituents, but we
hope that you will take into consideration the effort that people took to
be involved none the less. Through the wonders of the internet, people
from around the globe have joined in.

I hope you see this whole situation as we do, a starting point for great
discussion.
