Hey all! I'm another newbie...
I've had a bit of cunt-related problems in the past few months and would like some help/advice:

Around September '04 or so, I noticed this ring of red skin on my back (looked similar to ringworm) and a patch of the same, though not circular, on my chest between my right breast and underarm.
I got some over the counter medication for it, since my mom assumed it was ringworm (I had never had it before). It didn't really go away. Ever. The itchiness and redness pretty much stopped but there are still visible marks on my skin from the debacle. Moving on:
Not very long after that (about a week) I noticed a small red bump on my vulva, which led to two bumps, one large one which creeped into my vaginal opening and a smaller (but still large) one a bit to the right of it.
It itched like hell and hurt so bad that I actually tried to stop peeing. I missed a day of school and had trouble sitting. I freaked and thought it was probably an STD of some sort.
So I went to the gyno, (my first visit ever) and the nurse-lady tells me that it was probably the worst bump ever, but that it didnt have all the characteristics of herpes or general warts.
I was tested for herpes, syphillis, and chlamydia (to my knowledge).
I read up on all of them and so I was praying with all of my might that it was not herpes, which is what everyone else was assuming, since I also had that skin rash.
I should also mention that around the same time I had a huge gaping sore in the back of my throat.
I have been through so much pain this past year, ladies!
The mouth sores eventually went away on their own, although I did go to the doctor. He said there was nothing he could give me to make them go away, except for a ridiculously revolting numbing 'medicine' that was to be swished around in my throat. I refused to use it, as it didnt work anyways.

So I got my results back about a week later from the gyno, and I came up negative for all of the STDs I was tested for.
I have not had an 'outbreak' since.

However, about a month or so ago I had my first PAP done, and the results came back saying I had abnormal dysplasia of the cervix.
I was supposed to come back and have my cervix frozen.
I should note that it was about a week from my period when I had the PAP done.

Now I don't know what to believe, and really want to get ANOTHER gyno to get a totally new PAP done.
I am worried because in the past couple of days my vulva has been itchy again (along with various other parts of my body), but none of those sores or bumps.
What do you guys think about this whole experience?
It's definitely scared me, as this was my first experience with the gyno ever.
Should I assume I have an STD even if no other outbreak has evolved since September?
Is that normal?
And should I just get tested for EVERYTHING at numerous places?
I am covered by my dad's insurance but my mom usually ends up taking me and she has to pay the other charges for the visit. She is a single mother with 3 kids, and we can barely afford to eat 2-3 meals a day.
Advice!!!!!?

Abnormal cells on your cervix can be many things, including nothing at all. Lots of times they re-do the pap and it's fine. I've had the colospocy (sp?) and then the LEEP procedure, neither were that bad. The LEEP was a year ago march, and I've had to go every 3 months for one after that, and they've all been clear.

It is very possible that your dysplacia and the other symptoms are not realated at all.
