Hello, everyone!
Okay, straight to the problem. My doctors don't believe me! I've had this issue since I was a kid but as an adult, it's getting worse (or it's not getting worse, I'm just getting more annoyed with it.) I have a very very large amount of discharge. I know it's supposed to be a larger amount before the period, 4 ml's worth, but I literally have 5 times that. EVERY time I go to the bathroom, a LOT comes out. I tell my doctors this (I've been to 4 (from a pediatrician to my adult doctor, to two gyno's)) and they all give me the "you're crazy" look. I don't know what is going on. I have resorted to using tampons when I leave the house, which I know isn't healthy. Even if I wear pads or panty liners, there's so much of it that it literally drips down my leg and gets everywhere. It's a mess. I don't like public bathrooms, but even if that wasn't the case, I generally need a LOT of toilet paper to clean up the mess and in some cases, even a change of clothes. I need help. This ISN'T normal because I've talked to several friends and they never experience this problem. I wouldn't mind discharge in the morning, for regular cleaning, but how dirty is my vagina for this to happen??
P.S. I am not sexually active. I do not masturbate, either. I have been tested for STD's and came back negative in the past and I've only had one yeast infection and that was 7 years ago (when I was 15).
I need answers! I am tired of dealing with this. :-(
Oh yeah, I went on the pill (Seasonale) for a year and then my doctor refused to prescribe it to me until I got a pap smear (but the day she actually gave me the pap smear, she still refused to give it to me until she got the results. The results came back too bloody because I started my period that day and I found out my insurance expired so I couldn't afford to go back and I've been off for months now.) The pill helped with the situation but there were still times a lot came out.
