what i would do is monitor its progress. If it doesn't begin to heal more or it gets worse in the next few days, i'd go to the doctor. But I'd wear clean cotton underwear, use diluted peroxide to clean it, use an antibiotic cream, and keep it dry (i know that's hard) with baby powder.

However, I'm not a doctor so I have no idea what they'd tell you to do.
