2 questions

My first question has to do with something that happened to me when I was about five years old. My vaginal opening began to seal it’s self closed. When it was almost completely closed I went in for a procedure, and without any numbing or anesthesia they ripped it back open. I had almost forgotten about it, I mean who wouldn't want to, but I was talking to my girlfriend the other night and I remembered. The thing is I don’t remember ever being told why it started to seal up. I asked my mom about it and she said that they never told her why. I was wondering if anyone out there has ever heard of anything like this and if you might know what it was about. I am now very curious.

Secondly my mother, aunt and I have decided to try out the Keeper. I am very excited. The thing is I don't know who is the best place to order them and who ships the quickest. Any info would be very much appreciated.

Thanks. :)

I think what you may have had is something called "labial adhesions". Basically...everything just sticks together. One of my sisters daughters has had the same problem since birth. The doctors give her cremes and ointments to put on to help open it back up..and to stop any pain she may be having. I don't think the condition is that un-common..hormones during puberty usually keep it from sealing back up.

As for info on "the keeper"... get in contact with [livejournal.com profile] nuwanda_1998 She should have some info for you=)

Hi!
I ordered my keeper from ecologique in canada.
http://www.eco-logique.com They were really quick with the shipment, but I'm not sure how long it would take to go way down to you. Their website is worth looking at though - lots of info.
I have heard a lot of people order them from
http://www.thekeeperstore.com
Hope this helps!

well... i hope whoever decided you didn't need an anesthetic gets theirs some day. >:p

here are some links i found. the condition is not serious, usually resolves in puberty and should not be treated with forced separation.

I ordered mine from The Keeper Store (http://www.thekeeperstore.com) too; I was impressed not only with the quick shipping, but especially the discreetness of the package. No vagina pictures, nothing revealing at all, on the box--which was a bit of a relief, considering that I was going to have to pick up my package from the dorm's mailroom. yeah, I want my whole dorm discussing my menstrual cycle, thanks...
