FWIW, I experience a fair bit of clear discharge at a couple of points during my monthly cycle. I'm a recent convert to menstrual cups, so I've started using mine on the more discharge-y days, as well as during my period. It helps a lot, plus I don't need to use panty liners any more... win-win.
