Long labia minora?

I've had noticeably longer labia minora since I was about nine and began going through puberty. They actually scared me growing up because I thought they were two empty little ball sacks and was convinced I was born a boy! Anyways, so while I know it's not necessarily "normal", is it anything to be ashamed of? I may at some point get them surgically removed but I'm not sexually active and don't plan to be in the near future so it's not a huge problem. Just wonderin'.

I definitely don't think they're anything to be ashamed of.

I have really small ones and am kind of jealous of the longer ones. They're so interesting!
