It kinda is related to Vaginas ...

Did anyone's college have free HIV testing today? I'm curious because Roanoke College did. I went, ha. [it's supposed to be anonymous, but I really don't care]

We did some about two weeks ago for National Latino AIDS Awareness Day at one of the colleges around here, and sometimes we do a bunch for World AIDS Day in December or National HIV Testing Day in June, but I can't think of anything that would make today a special day...National Condom Week isn't til February.

I wish we had HIV testing in our colleges, perhaps it would incourage more people to get it done, myself I think everyone should get it done, it might cut down on the spread a bit (although then there will always be those who try to spread it on purpose if they know they have it!)

BTW, I had a look at your journal, I like the idea of the little image for comments.

my school (UC Santa Cruz) has needle-less, free and anonymous HIV testing all the time... usually not the last 2 weeks of the quarter though because it takes 2 weeks to get the results back from the lab they send it to, and they don't want to have to hold the results over the break. santa cruz is an awesome school that way. we also have a condom co-op, where you can get a vast array of condoms for 25cents...

They do at James Madison U. in Harrisonburg, VA. It's free, anonymous, and you can get condoms too. They also have a program where you can get a Pap, all the STD stuff, and breast exam for $60, or $100 with a years supply of OCP. It's awesome =)

Sonoma State University used to have free, anonymous, and sometimes needless HIV testing every Thursday. But since there were budget cuts, they took it out. We must now pay 12 dollars and don't know about it being needless or anonymous. I was sad because I was actually going to use it, but they took it out just when I was going to. *shrugs* What can you do?
