I will go to the doctor if it's not totally gone by Monday. (It seems better.) The only reason I don't think it's herpes (which was definitely my first thought) is that I had exactly the same thing happen last year -- and my doctor checked it, told me it was definitely not herpes, and was just an irritation/infection most likely 'caused by using some kind of irritating cream/etc. on my sensitive bits. She prescribed me amoxicillan and it was gone in a few days ... last I saw of it until the other day.
