greetings.

I'm an almost-22-year-old college student at UNC-Asheville, and a month ago, katlynel convinced me to get a clitoral hood piercing. At first it sounded waaaay too out there for me (I'm quiet, introverted in person) but she sent me a quote that a mutual friend had written on a message board about a year prior:
"I loved my vagina so much I bought jewelry for it."
That hit home, I'd seen The Vagina Monologues for the first time in February and been thrilled by it. She promised it would be painless. The actual piercing hurt for a second, but not at all after that. Vaginas were already a nice thing to look at--and it's all the more beautiful now!

so hello. nice to find that a vagina-friendly community exists!

rad. does it have any uh side effects of any sort? i mean, is it a high maintanence type of thing, cleaning all the time and such or what? i've thought about getting one of those.. i wouldn't till i'm older but it's nice to have the facts before hand to make the right deciscion for me.

...seems as though so many people from there are getting their hoods pierced!

yep, that was princesscrystald on one of the old Estros, I forget which one. it was the former indiegrrl who convinced me to do mine. :)

I've cleaned it twice a day with Ivory antibacterial soap, but it literally didn't hurt after the first day or two. Every now and then I'd move and it would be like "whoa... yeah, my clit's there and alive!" but not painful. No random orgasms, either, but I like it. I'm in some kind of sex drought, so I've yet to figure out what it does to sex.

you should! it's a relatively painless, low-maintenance piercing. if I had known how easy it was, I would have done it sooner.
