I believe white undies protect your vulva from dyes. Of course, if your underwear is bleached before you get it, or if you wash it with bleach or harsh detergent, all bets are off.
It's kind of like my PE teacher's advice in grade school: She told us to always wear white socks when we were exercising because if we got a blister and it popped, the dye in colored socks would infect the blister. It sounds like nonsense, but the visual image of clean white socks works for me. So I always do that.
As for the blow drying, I think it would just work to hang out naked for a few minutes after you get out of the shower. Lie on the bed naked, read a chapter in a book ... I do it all the time, just because it's relaxing. Even though I've dried off throughly with a towel, I feel drier still after a few minutes lying on the bed. I think it has something to do with getting out of a humid bathroom.
