i agree that it's worth it. i have cycle-related depression, and generally a long flow of 8-9 days, and it's very heavy at the beginning. the worst is the depression though. the ring made me a bit moodier, and the patch made me insane, but my ordinary cycle is still enough to not make me feel like i'm really myself. that's why i wouldn't choose non-hormonal BC. also, since my periods are irregular, i get SO paranoid every month due to the fact that condoms aren't as effective and whatnot.

the patch came off saturday. i see my fiance (hehe, i LOVE using this word, we've been engaged for like 2 days) again on the 17th, and we plan to use condoms that weekend. then, that week, i'll get back my pap results and see if i can get a mirena. now the only problem is, i won't know when i'll menstruate because my period is so irregular, and i'm off BC. oh well... i'll figure it out. I WANT MIRENA! I WANT MIRENA!
