Clue cells present?

What does this mean? I went to the doctor today about my continued YI and the swab from last week was back. The nurse told me it was negative for candida and I took a peek at her computer screen there were a few other notes, I saw the word gonorrhea, am presuming it was negative or she would have told me. But there was a note saying 'clue cells present'. What does this mean? Aren't they associated with BV? Does this mean I do have BV or is it normal to have some clue cells?
