Yeast Infection, Internal & External?

Ok VP LJers -

I've searched through the memories and read some basic stuff about yeast infections. I know I have one (this is not my first) However, this one seems like it's external as well. I noticed right near my clitoris is one of the worst (most painful and has the "cottage cheese" ) spots. I bought some monistat 3-day (the kind you squeeze up into your vag) should I put anything else on my clitorial area? Or should I just focus on keeping it clean?

And FYI - I don't have insurance right now, and my school health center is closed and on a crazy schedule 'cos of furloughs.

Your Monistat 3-day should have come with a tube of external cream. If it didn't, and you haven't used it yet then take it back to the store and echange it for one that does. (Someone could have taken it out it it's not a box that is glued shut!) That little tube is all that you should need, and you probably won't even wind up using the whole thing!
