Things that make you go hmm

Why is it my vagoo is so irritated the day after a little nighttime fun with Mr vibe? I don't get it. Also my boyfriend is coming out this November, and you know what that means... sex. I'm a virgin but well versed on contraceptives, thought will being on the pill and using a male condom be enough? I'm most likely allergic to spermicides applied vaginally.

Being on the pill AND using a condom is more than enough, in most cases. Don't stress.

About your vibrator...could you be sensitive to the material it's made with?

Nothing is 100% safe, but if you use both methods properly your chances of getting pregnant are very, very small.

*nod* I agree with this. I mean, theoretically, all the oxygen molecules in the room could wind up randomly in one corner of the room! In practice... So long as "use" isn't "wave a pill vaguely around my mouth and pass the condom over the guy's scrotum," should be fine.

As with the people below, I'd figure the vibe material is the first chance of a problem -- but I can sometimes use my vibes too fast, before I'm sufficiently self-lubricated, which creates a mild "rubbed raw" feeling for a little while. So it could be that, or a combination of both.

Luck!

what's your vibrator made out of? perhaps the "material" is irritating you or it just needs to be cleaned?

"Good enough" for what? Preventing pregnancy? Sure. Hormonal birth control like the pill were created to be a sole form of bc to be used without anything else. Using a condom would increase your protection, sure.

It could be that you're sensitive to whatever you're cleaning it with.

Vagoo? That's a new one.

Being on the pill alone would be enough, by my standard of "enough". Taken perfectly, the pill is over 99% effective. Condoms alone would also be enough for many people, as they are also very effective. Together, you're more than adequately protected.

What kind of material is your vibrator made of? It might be the material that's causing the problem.
