sorry, i should have mentioned this originally! leaving it in is fine - you can rinse it out with the vinegar douche if you must. you don't need to use a lot, and just as with the pharmaceutical yeast creams, you may have some leakage, so wearing a pantiliner is helpful. my suggestion would be to do it before bed, and wear a pantiliner that night and the next morning.
