Availability of EC in Ireland

Hello all! I will spending the fall semester in Ireland and I wanted to know if EC is available OTC. I tried looking it up online but I couldn't really find anything that said yes or no. Thanks in advance!

This page says that a prescription is required: http://www.ifpa.ie/contraception/emergency.html

If you're currently in the US, I'd just buy it beforehand and bring it with you.

It's free from the family planning clinic, but otherwise you need a prescription from a doctor.

Expect to pay around €35-€40 (with a student ID) to see a doctor in a family planning clinic, though. As far as I know, it costs more to get an appointment on a Sunday.

I hope you enjoy your term over here!
