what's my real risk? withdrawal method
i am not at this time on hormonal BC, nor do my boyfriend and i use condoms (we are both pretty allergic to latex, etc, it just wasn't working out well for us). we have both been tested and have no STDs.
when we have sex he simply pulls out every time, and, never ejaculates inside me.
the only exception to this is about once a month on the 2nd or 3rd day of my period i let him come inside me.
this method of birth control works better for me then any i have tried. no hormones to mess with my libido, no rashes or horrible dryness problems. it really almost gave me my sex life back, so to speak.
my question mostly is this: i've read SO MANY conflicting things about it, as far as effectiveness, so how effective is it really? most of the statistics i see posted have an obvious bias (aka, planned parenthood wants you to think it is more or less 0% effective)
has anyone used this method long term w/o FAM? i've been using it for around 3 months at this point in time
(ps. to prevent drama i just wanted to ad that i have made an informed descision about this to the best of my ability and am not just being careless with my health)
thanks guys :)
