Yogurt directly on vulva?

I am having the yeast infection to top all yeast infections. I've realized that it's a definite result of taking an antibiotic for BV. I'm typically into a more natural approach to health, but yesterday, I couldn't bare it anymore, and went to get some Diflucan after Monistat One Day didn't work for me.

And the Diflucan has done nothing as well. I'm going nuts here. I know these aren't symptoms of the BV, because the BV symptoms (fishy odor, increased discharge etc.) never ever affected me like this, and I had definite YI symptoms pop up immediately after I started the antibiotic.

I think I'm going back to putting my faith in more natural approaches. I've heard a lot of stuff about yogurt. Not only am I in need of finding something to cure this infection, I also want something to soothe it as well. Would it work faster/do anything at all if I directly applied sugar-free plain yogurt on my vulva and inside my vagina? Is there anything wrong with doing that? (I have a 24 grocery store two miles away that I'm seriously considering making a trip to tonight for the yogurt.)

Also, I've read that douching with a hydrogen peroxide and water solution can also be beneficial.

I have blood sugar problems a lot...and a few years ago I used to take Diflucan every month before my period to knock chronic YIs. It always worked then. Go figure, it doesn't work anymore.

What has worked really well for you girls?  What is something that works really well to soothe my poor little irritated self? My vulva feels like it's on fire!

One other thing. I only got one Diflucan pill when I went to the clinic the other day...that's all they would give me. Is there a chance the infection can come back again throughout the ten days of treatment?

Sorry this was long. Thanks again girls.
