I feel really dumb asking this, but how quickly after becoming pregnant, do the sore boobs and morning sickness come?
And what does this morning sickness feel like? I've got cramping, and pain but not so much nausea..

I'm probably freaking over nothing... As far as I can remember, I've been taking my pill on time, and I use a condom every time, but my boobs are sore and I'm feeling funny.. and somethings nagging in me like.. "maybe"

I didn't know where to look to find these answers... I couldn't find my way around the PP website if I tried.. I'm really sorry if this is obvious.. It's my first post here

take a pregnancy test. seriously. it will calm your nerves (especially if you've taken your pill at the same time every day).

they're off the shelf in most locations. i know my rite-aid has them in a locked case, but the grocery store has them on the shelf.

you didn't have the condom break, right? and you said you're taking your pill on time with no misses. seriously, the earlier you find out the truth the easier it is to handle the outcome. don't wait on it. if you're NOT pregnant, it'll help you relax...and if you are, you'll be able to make The Decision on what you intend to do about it. besides, the longer you stress about it the more likely it'll be that you push your monthly bleed back further, causing you more stress.

just...get a test, and breathe. it'll be OK!

i really wouldn't know - i've never experienced pregnancy symptoms.

If you were pregnant and genuinely experiencing pregnancy symptoms, which are caused by hCG, that would generally mean there would be enough hCG in the blood to detect on a pregnancy test.

That said, I agree fully with [livejournal.com profile] loonylupinlover that the symptoms you describe are also potential side effects of hormonal birth control, and that between using condoms and HBC your chances of being pregnant are unbelievably remote.

I crunched some numbers once and found that the chances of becoming pregnant using both of those methods correctly is something like 1 in 50,000 over the course of a year... potentially even less.
